Summer

Here we are between
an autumn calling, and green
It is Summer time

Marry together
birth and death, an end coming
Lugh bringer of light
Reaping, Summer days and nights
All that nature is giving

This begins with Haiku, the second part a Tanka. Amidst uncertain times, this summer feels especially notable for looking at where we have been and where we are going.

Photos taken here at home while sitting out back.
